At the Mould Academy we pride ourselves in providing our students with actual
field instruction. The majority of other mould certification courses
provide only two to three days of classroom time and an exam in some cases.
We believe that better trained mould professionals come from hands-on
training as well as classroom time. Our students spend three days out in
the field at an actual mould
remediation site. Our instructors use the real world experience to
demonstrate real life situations. Students can expect to learn some of the
following:
- Proper PPE equipment (Personal Protective Equipment) and how to wear and
care for your equipment
- Proper entry and exit procedures into a contained area
- Proper containment design, erection and maintenance
- Proper containment equipment, care and maintenance
- Proper tear out procedures
- Proper disposal procedures
- Proper decontamination procedures
- Proper Mould removal and cleaning techniques
- Dry-ice blasting, when and how
- How to prepare for Post Remediation Clearance Testing and PASS every
time
Below are actual mould remediation sites and real life situations that
students will have the opportunity to experience first hand. No matter if
you are new to the mould industry or a seasoned professional, Hands-on training
will provide you with an invaluable training experience.
